Directorate General of Taxes to Launch Coretax Mobile Version in Two Weeks
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Director General of Taxes of the Ministry of Finance Bimo Wijayanto disclosed that they are drafting a schedule to launch the Coretax core tax administration system in a mobile version soon. ‘We have already launched Coretax Form, and we will soon launch Coretax Mobile,’ Bimo said at the Tax Class at the DJP Public Relations Office in Jakarta, Thursday, 5 February 2026. Bimo said the addition of Coretax service channels is part of the DJP’s commitment to making it easier for taxpayers to meet their obligations to the state. He noted that Coretax Mobile will focus on reporting and activation of the system, which could reduce the burden on Coretax-related services at the tax office. ‘Therefore, with the additional reporting and activation channels, we hope to reduce the burden on the system and on service delivery,’ he said. He also reminded that the Coretax Form service launched earlier can be accessed via the Coretax website. Coretax Form allows taxpayers to complete administration offline, and after going online can be connected to the system during peak hours. For Coretax Mobile, he said it will be similar to the M-Pajak app that appeared a few years ago. The process is currently entering the User Acceptance Test phase. ‘Of course, this must be robustly tested internally; nearly all business processes, from service, supervision, public relations, investigations, and others, we are asking for an acceptance review of Coretax Mobile,’ he explained. Bimo targets Coretax Mobile to be launched by the Directorate General of Taxes within two weeks, on both Android and iOS platforms. ‘Our aim is that, with a more flexible reporting channel, we can ensure easier, faster services accessible from various devices,’ he said.
