Director of Samudera Indonesia (SMDR) Increases Shareholding

PT Samudera Indonesia Tbk (SMDR) has announced that its Director, Farida Helianti Sastrosatomo, has increased her shareholding by 100,000 shares. According to disclosures to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), the purchase occurred on 17 March 2026, when SMDR shares were trading at Rp332 per share. The transaction was for investment purposes and did not involve any repurchase agreement. As a result, Farida Helianti’s shareholding in SMDR has risen from 1.8 million shares, equivalent to 0.01% ownership, to 1.9 million shares, or approximately 0.011%. The report indicates that the share ownership is held directly. Furthermore, this transaction does not change the control status, with Farida Helianti remaining a non-controlling party in the company. SMDR shares have risen 0.58% over the last five trading days to Rp346. However, year-to-date, they have fallen 21.72%. Based on the Monthly Report on Securities Holder Registration as of 28 February 2026, the ultimate beneficiaries of SMDR are Shanti Lasminingsih Poesposoetjipto, Ratna Djuwita Hatma, and Chandraleika M. Mulia. They control SMDR through PT Samudera Indonesia Tangguh with 58% ownership. Additionally, PT Ngrumat Bondo Utomo, an affiliated controlling company, holds 16.02% of SMDR shares.
