Director of Raffi Ahmad's RANS Resigns, What's Behind It?

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Raffi Ahmad’s listed company, PT Rans Entertainment Indonesia Tbk (RANS), has announced the resignation of one of its directors, Grandy Prajayakti, from his position as Director of the Company. The decision comes shortly after RANS officially listed on the stock exchange through an initial public offering (IPO) earlier this month.

RANS Finance Director, Rumunggo Yokonapita, revealed that the company received Grandy’s resignation letter on Wednesday, 22 July 2026.

“On 22 July 2026, the Company received a letter of resignation from Mr Grandy Prajayakti as Director of the Company. The resignation was submitted for personal reasons,” said Rumunggo in an information disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), quoted on Saturday (25/7/2026).

Rumunggo asserted that Grandy’s departure has no material impact on the company’s operational activities, legal standing, financial condition, or business continuity going forward.

As a follow-up, RANS will hold a general meeting of shareholders (RUPS) to obtain formal approval from shareholders regarding Grandy’s resignation.

“The Company will convene a General Meeting of Shareholders to decide on the resignation in accordance with applicable regulations,” explained Rumunggo.
