Pertamina has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that petrol station services meet high-quality standards. This was demonstrated during a visit by the Pertamina Board of Commissioners to the COCO 5_1.801.30 petrol station in East Denpasar, Bali, on Sunday, 31 May 2026, followed by inspections of petrol stations in Renon and Sanur on Monday, 1 June 2026.

The President Commissioner of Pertamina, Mochamad Iriawan, noted that as Bali serves as a global tourism showcase, the visit was essential to verify fuel stock availability, facilities, and the quality of service in Denpasar. Iriawan emphasised that station managers must prioritise cleanliness and environmental care, while instructing operators to provide friendly and professional service to enhance customer comfort.

Similarly, Independent Commissioner Condro Kirono, during his inspection of the COCO 5_1.801.30 station, observed a high level of public awareness regarding the use of non-subsidised fuels, such as Pertamax and Pertamax Turbo. He noted significant queues of motorcycles waiting for these premium products and suggested that continuous socialisation efforts should be directed at the public, automotive communities, and dealers to highlight the engine efficiency benefits of non-subsidised fuels.

Kirono also encouraged petrol station operators to be creative in optimising their premises. He suggested utilising available space for tenants to generate additional revenue, transforming petrol stations into lifestyle hubs where customers can shop or enjoy coffee rather than just refuelling.

The Executive General Manager of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jatimbalinus, Iwan Yudha Wibawa, stated that the company has taken significant feedback from the Board’s visit. This includes improvements regarding service standards, safety protocols, service excellence, and the reliability of energy services to ensure maximum benefit for the people of Bali.
