DIR: Danantara Receives Positive Public Response During Prabowo’s First Two Years
Jakarta (ANTARA) – Deep Intelligence Research (DIR) has recorded a positive public response to Danantara Indonesia during the first two years of the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka administration.
“Discussion of Danantara has also been shaped by news coverage and official government messages about state investment management, natural resource exports, and housing construction for disaster victims,” DIR Research and Communications Director Neni Nur Hayati said in a statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.
She said topics attracting public attention included the single-channel policy for natural resource exports, housing construction in Aceh Tamiang, and Danantara’s achievements as a state investment management institution.
According to Neni, Danantara recorded 90.1 per cent positive sentiment in mainstream media coverage.
“Narratives about Indonesia’s ability to build large numbers of homes and strengthen the governance of state investment have formed part of the messaging that has received a positive response,” she said.
However, positive sentiment figures in mainstream media cannot be directly equated with the views of the public as a whole.
Neni said public opinion on social media needs to be assessed separately, taking account of the sources of conversations, content and the context of interactions.
Between 17 and 20 May 2026, 76,914 items of content from 51,824 accounts reported on one-stop natural resource exports through PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (DSI). Coverage peaked on 17 May 2006, with 9,121 items of content.
Meanwhile, monitoring of digital discussions from October 2025 to October 2026 recorded 2,949,062 engagements with posts on Danantara-related topics. TikTok accounted for the most engagements, at 2,458,829, while Instagram had the largest volume of content, with 53,356 items.
