Dion Markx and Ramon Tanque Resume Training in Bali
Persib players Dion Markx and Ramon Tanque have returned to training in Bali as the injuries they sustained gradually heal, the club’s website reported on Thursday (13/8).
Dion, who suffered a hamstring injury, and Ramon, who had a shoulder problem, were given the opportunity to train with the ball at the Bali United Training Center, Gianyar, under the supervision of assistant physical coach Yaya Sunarya. This was the second day back on the pitch for Dion during the training camp in Bali, and conversely the first for Ramon.
Positive progress was also shown by Berguinho. The Brazilian player had an ankle injury but finally joined his teammates on the field after a longer recovery period in the fitness centre.
‘My left ankle is starting to feel comfortable and there is no pain,’ said Berguinho, who was on the sidelines accompanied by Persib physiotherapist Geraldo Santos.
Luciano Guaycochea is the only player not yet permitted to train on the pitch. The Argentine midfielder even underwent supporting examinations in Denpasar with team doctor Wira Prasetya Chandra on Thursday.
Persib will open the Super League season by playing away at PSM Makassar on 6 September. Before that, they will play an AFC Champions League Two qualifying match on 31 August against Manila Digger, the champions of the Philippines League.
