Din Urges OIC Members to Unite Against the Oppression by Israel and the United States
Jakarta — Din Syamsuddin, the chairman of the Poros Dunia Wasatiyyat Islam, has urged member states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to demonstrate Islamic and humanitarian solidarity amid the escalating conflict in the Middle East. He said this moment should be used by OIC members to unite against injustice and to stop the oppression carried out by Israel and the United States (US).
Din said that, of course, those with a conscience would condemn the killing of Iran’s spiritual leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and several Iranian generals as heinous and cruel acts. The actions violate human rights, international law, and constitute real terrorism.
“However, the martyrdom of Iran’s spiritual leader provides new ammunition for Iran to carry out retaliation against Israel and American interests in the region,” Din told Republika on Tuesday (3 March 2026).
Din, who is also the chair of the World Peace Forum, said that in addition to deploying its substantial arms capability, Iran had found a renewed zeal to fight. The Iranian people, with a glorious past and a high fighting spirit, rise up, grow angry, and stand behind the Revolutionary Guards to resist. The opposition factions allied with the United States would also be crushed.
As a result, Israel and the United States will be overwhelmed by the situation and may seek to surrender or offer a ceasefire. In the days ahead, Tel Aviv and US military bases in the region will be further damaged.
