Digitalisation Simplifies MSME Reporting and Transactions

Many MSMEs in Indonesia still face difficulties in managing transactions, payments, and bookkeeping because they use separate systems. This often results in untidy financial reports and makes it difficult for business owners to monitor their business health in real-time. Responding to this need, PT Swipe Pay Indonesia has launched Swipe POS, a digital point-of-sale system that allows business owners to manage all operations from a single platform. This application can be activated in five minutes via an Android device and is integrated with various digital payment methods such as QRIS, EDC, and payment links. “MSMEs need a system that not only accepts payments but also supports the entire operational process, including profit and loss reports, so that business owners can make decisions more quickly,” said PT Swipe Pay Indonesia COO Ageng Malik Sanjaya on Thursday. With an integrated dashboard, business owners can monitor transactions, orders, and financial reports efficiently. This is considered important given that business digitalisation is a key factor in the growth of MSMEs in the digital economy era. In addition to operational ease, Swipe POS also provides flexible service packages, ranging from a free package for beginners to a subscription package with complete features for more developed businesses. The company has also prepared special packages for businesses with complex needs and modular add-on features so users only pay for the features used. According to Adrian Bambang, CMO of PT Swipe Pay Indonesia, the integration of a digital point-of-sale system can reduce recording errors and speed up the business reporting process, enabling MSMEs to focus on business development. PT Swipe Pay Indonesia is part of the South Korean payment technology company, Swipe Pay Co., Ltd., which has been operating since 1999. The company has been present in Indonesia since 2023 to support the digitalisation of business operations, including through Point of Sales services.
