PT Jasa Raharja continues to strengthen its commitment to providing basic protection to the public through fast, precise, and digitally based services. Up to May 2026, the company has disbursed compensation amounting to Rp1.22 trillion to victims of road traffic accidents and public transport passengers across Indonesia. Jasa Raharja President Director Muhammad Awaluddin stated that the compensation service represents the state’s presence in protecting the community. Therefore, the company is continuously transforming to make services more accessible, faster, and to provide certainty for victims or their heirs. “We want to ensure that every victim or heir obtains their rights quickly, precisely, and transparently. Jasa Raharja’s presence is not only about providing compensation, but also about providing a sense of security that the state is present when the community faces a disaster,” Awaluddin said. Up to May 2026, compensation was provided to 55,617 victims, comprising 10,734 fatalities and 44,883 injured victims. The total compensation disbursed reached Rp1.22 trillion, consisting of Rp581 billion for death benefits and Rp641 billion for injury benefits. According to Awaluddin, this realisation is inseparable from the strengthening of the company’s ongoing digital transformation. One key initiative is the integration of services with hospitals through the JRCare application, enabling the guarantee process for injured victims to be carried out more quickly and efficiently. As of May 2026, a total of 2,841 hospitals have been connected to Jasa Raharja’s service system. This integration allows administrative processes to be simpler, so victims can immediately receive medical treatment without being hindered by guarantee procedures. “We believe that the best protection is not only realised through fast compensation services, but also through various efforts to prevent accidents. Therefore, we direct our digital transformation not only to improve service quality, but also to strengthen data-based transportation safety strategies,” Awaluddin said. This commitment is demonstrated through various transportation safety programmes involving the Indonesian National Police, the Ministry of Transportation, local governments, hospitals, academics, communities, and various other stakeholders. Throughout January to May 2026, Jasa Raharja has implemented 3,354 transportation safety programmes in various regions. These activities include traffic safety education, safety riding training, basic emergency first aid, mapping of accident-prone areas, traffic communication forums, and joint operations with relevant agencies. The company’s transformation has also impacted the speed of service delivery. The average settlement time for death benefits can now be completed in approximately 1 day and 5 hours, while the issuance of guarantee letters for injured victims is completed in an average of 4 days and 8 hours. Meanwhile, the increasing public mobility throughout 2026 has also affected the number of accidents covered by Jasa Raharja’s protection. This situation further reinforces the importance of collaboration among all stakeholders in building a traffic safety culture. “Going forward, we will continue to strengthen synergy with various ministries, institutions, local governments, and communities to make preventive efforts more effective. Jasa Raharja’s success is not only measured by the speed of compensation disbursement, but also by our contribution to reducing accident risks through education, collaboration, and strengthening the transportation safety culture,” Awaluddin concluded.
