State-owned enterprises PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA) and PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia (InJourney) have partnered with the Asia-Pacific travel platform Klook to accelerate the digital transformation of the tourism sector while expanding ecosystem-based travel service integration.

As part of this collaboration, Klook and Garuda Indonesia are launching the new “Garuda Indonesia Things to Do” feature, available on the FlyGaruda app and the official Garuda Indonesia website.

Miles & Ancillary Group Head at Garuda Indonesia, Purwa Adi Gurnita, stated that this partnership forms part of Garuda Indonesia’s commitment to strengthening the FlyGaruda digital service ecosystem as a one-stop travel platform.

“This collaboration with Klook also represents a strategic step for Garuda Indonesia in expanding the added value of travel services to deliver more comfortable and beneficial travel experiences,” she said at the Langham Jakarta Hotel on Wednesday (13/5/2026).

Users of FlyGaruda will also have the opportunity to earn GarudaMiles from every activity booking made through the platform.

Meanwhile, Klook views Indonesia as a strategic market in Southeast Asia amid growing demand for digital-based tourism. General Manager of Klook for Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, Sarah Wan, said the partnership with Garuda Indonesia and InJourney is part of the strategy to expand more relevant travel experiences for both domestic and international tourists.

“With changing traveller behaviour now seeking ease in end-to-end trip planning, Klook is committed to continuously delivering innovations and expanding collaborations to create more practical and personalised tourism experiences,” she added.

InJourney, on the other hand, is leveraging this collaboration to broaden the promotion of Indonesian destinations through Klook’s global digital channels. As the state-owned holding for the aviation and tourism sector, InJourney has a mandate to strengthen connectivity and national tourism ecosystem integration through six business clusters, from airport management to hospitality and tourism area development.

Commercial Director of InJourney, Veronica H. Sisilia, stated that this partnership is part of InJourney’s strategy to enhance the competitiveness of Indonesian destinations in the digital tourism market.

“With the reach of the Klook platform, we hope that Indonesian destinations and tourism products will become easier to discover, choose, and enjoy by both domestic and international tourists,” she concluded.
