Digital Payment Platform Cahaya Prepares to Host Indonesia's Digital Financial Innovation Summit 2026 in Surabaya
Digital payment platform and digitisation services provider, PT Cahaya Bisnis Digital (Cahaya), will host the “Indonesia International Digital Financial Innovation Summit 2026” on 31 March 2026 at Hotel The Westin Surabaya, East Java.
This summit represents a high-level industry forum focused on strengthening cross-border cooperation between China and Indonesia. The event will bring together fintech leaders from both countries, investment institutions, companies, and policy experts to discuss digital economy trends in Southeast Asia, the development of cross-border payment systems, and digital transformation strategies for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
In addition to serving as a discussion forum, the summit will also be the stage for the first global launch of Cahaya’s AI-based SaaS smart business system product. This product was developed through collaboration between Chinese and Indonesian teams, with a focus on providing integrated operational solutions for local companies, while accelerating digital transformation in Indonesia.
Cahaya’s core team consists of professionals from technology and financial companies in China and Indonesia, such as Lakala and Meituan, who have experience in developing the Indonesian Payment System (SPI) 2025.
Through its services, Cahaya claims to have reached more than 91.3 million unbanked individuals and 6.29 million SME actors. The selection of Surabaya as the host location is based on its role as a major trading hub in eastern Indonesia with dynamic industrial activities.
The summit’s programme includes speeches on industry trends, roundtable discussion forums, product launches, and business matchmaking sessions. This forum is expected to serve as an effective communication bridge for Chinese-Indonesian partners in building a more integrated digital economic ecosystem.
