Digital Payment Partnership for MaritimHub Platform Officially Launched
The signing of a Cooperation Agreement between PT Finnet Indonesia and the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, Ministry of Transportation, regarding the provision of Finpay Payment Gateway services for online payment collection on the MaritimHub Digital Platform has been officially carried out. The signing ceremony was attended by Rakhmad Tunggal Afifuddin as President Director of PT Finnet Indonesia, Aziz Sidqi as Director of Business & Marketing of PT Finnet Indonesia, and Muhammad Masyhud as Director General of Sea Transportation along with his staff. Through the integration of the Finpay payment gateway service on the MaritimHub digital platform, the public and business operators in the maritime sector can now conduct electronic payment transactions through various available channels. President Director of PT Finnet Indonesia, Rakhmad Tunggal Afifuddin, stated that the current digital transformation has changed public expectations of public services. Society is increasingly facilitated by various fast digital services, so expectations for service quality are also getting higher. ‘Therefore, public service providers must be able to adapt and present services that are relevant to the needs of the community,’ said Rakhmad. Meanwhile, Director of Business & Marketing of PT Finnet Indonesia, Aziz Sidqi, emphasised that this collaboration is part of Finnet’s commitment to strengthening the national digital payment ecosystem, particularly in the transportation and public service sectors. ‘As a company focused on developing digital payment solutions, Finnet is committed to delivering a secure, reliable, and integrated Finpay payment gateway service. Through collaboration with the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, we hope the implementation of the digital payment system on MaritimHub can increase operational efficiency, strengthen transaction transparency, and provide a better service experience for all maritime service users,’ said Aziz. On the same occasion, Director General of Sea Transportation, Muhammad Masyhud, conveyed that the digitalisation of maritime services needs to be supported by a secure, reliable, and integrated payment system to improve service quality for users. ‘The cooperation with PT Finnet Indonesia holds strategic significance in supporting the implementation of increasingly modern digital services oriented towards user needs. Synergy between the government and the business sector is also key in encouraging public service innovation in the digital era,’ he revealed. MaritimHub itself is an integrated service and data portal developed by the Directorate General of Sea Transportation to unite various maritime services on a single digital platform. With the presence of the payment gateway service from Finnet, the payment process for various services available on MaritimHub can be carried out more practically, quickly, transparently, and accountably. This collaboration further strengthens Finnet’s position as a provider of digital payment solutions trusted by various government agencies, State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), and industry players in supporting the acceleration of digital transformation in Indonesia.
