JAKARTA - As a technical implementing unit under the Directorate General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub), the Balai Pengujian Laik Jalan dan Sertifikasi Kendaraan Bermotor (BPLJSKB) has facilities for testing electrified vehicles at the proving ground in Bekasi, West Java. These facilities cover testing of pure electric cars, hybrids, and electric motorcycles, including converted vehicles. BPLJSKB Head Iman Sukandar stated that the testing process for electric vehicles differs from that of conventional vehicles, including in terms of the facilities.
