Diesel prices to drop from 1 June 2026, Dexlite now Rp23,000 per litre
PT Pertamina (Persero) has lowered non-subsidised diesel prices effective Monday, 1 June 2026. The reduction applies to Dexlite and Pertamina Dex, while Pertamax and Pertamax Green prices remain unchanged.
According to Pertamina’s fuel price information effective 1 June 2026, Dexlite prices in Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara fall to Rp23,000 per litre from Rp26,000 in May 2026.
Meanwhile, Pertamina Dex prices drop significantly from Rp27,900 to Rp24,800 per litre.
Pertamax (RON 92) remains at Rp12,300 per litre, and Pertamax Green 95 stays at Rp12,900 per litre.
For subsidized and duty-assigned fuels, Pertamina maintains Pertalite at Rp10,000 per litre and subsidized Biosolar at Rp6,800 per litre.
Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Roberth MV Dumatubun said fuel price adjustments are made periodically considering global energy price developments and the government’s pricing formula.
“Lowering prices for Pertamina Dex and Dexlite, as well as adjusting Pertamax Turbo prices, takes into account global energy dynamics and government-set parameters through the applicable pricing formula,” he stated in a release.
Roberth noted that the non-subsidised diesel price cut could have broader economic impacts as these fuels are widely used in logistics and transport sectors.
“For the diesel sector, with more competitive pricing, we hope to contribute more significantly to national economic stability,” he added.
Pertamina Patra Niaga also assured fuel supply across its petrol station network remains secure to meet public and business needs.
The price adjustment implements Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Decision No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022, amending Decision No. 62 K/12/MEM/2020 on the Basic Price Formula for Retail Selling Prices of General Fuel Types (gasoline and diesel) distributed through public petrol stations (SPBU).
Moving forward, Pertamina stated it will continue monitoring global energy markets and coordinating with the government to ensure reliable, competitive, and sustainable energy services for the public.
