Jakarta (ANTARA) - BP fuel stations are adjusting the prices of their petroleum products, with the type of diesel or BP Ultimate Diesel rising from Rp25,560 per litre in mid-April 2026 to Rp30,890 per litre. Quoting the official Instagram page of BP Indonesia under the username bp_idn in Jakarta on Monday, the price increase applies only to diesel fuel. Meanwhile, the petrol type BP Ultimate remains at Rp12,930 per litre, as does the BP 92 fuel type at Rp12,390 per litre. On the other hand, PT Pertamina (Persero) has announced an update to petroleum fuel (BBM) prices for certain specific regions effective from 4 May, with non-subsidised diesel and Pertamax Turbo experiencing surges, while Pertamax remains steady. Based on Pertamina’s official website quoted from Jakarta on Monday, Pertamina is making adjustments to petroleum fuel (BBM) prices. In Jabodetabek, for instance, the price of Pertamax Turbo (RON 98) BBM shows an increase to Rp19,900 per litre from Rp19,400 per litre in April. Pertamina Dex Series or diesel-type BBM in that region has also seen an increase. The price of Dexlite (CN 51) BBM has risen to Rp26,000 per litre from Rp23,600 per litre in April 2026. Pertamina Dex (CN 53) has also increased to Rp27,900 per litre from the previous Rp23,900 per litre. Meanwhile, Pertamina is still holding the price of Pertamax (RON 92) at Rp12,300 per litre, as well as Pertamax Green (RON 95) at Rp12,900 per litre since March, precisely before the war between the United States (US)-Israel and Iran. Assigned and subsidised BBM prices have also not changed, namely Pertalite at Rp10,000 per litre and Biosolar at Rp6,800 per litre.
