Diesel Fuel Prices Drop: Calculating the Cost to Refill a Hyundai Palisade Tank

PT Pertamina (Persero) has once again adjusted the prices of non-subsidised fuels, effective from 1 June 2026. One of the most significant decreases can be seen in diesel fuel prices. According to official information from Pertamina Patra Niaga, the price of Pertamina Dex has dropped from Rp 27,900 per litre to Rp 24,800 per litre. Meanwhile, Dexlite has also seen a reduction from Rp 26,000 per litre to Rp 23,000 per litre.

This decrease in diesel prices is welcome news for owners of diesel-powered vehicles, including the Hyundai Palisade, which is known as a premium SUV with a large diesel engine capacity. Using Dexlite, the cost to fill a Palisade tank reaches Rp 1,633,000, while using Pertamina Dex requires a budget of Rp 1,760,800. For comparison, under the previous prices, a full tank using Dexlite cost Rp 1,846,000, while Pertamina Dex cost Rp 1,980,900. This reduction in diesel prices is expected to help lower vehicle operational costs, particularly for diesel SUV users who frequently undertake long-distance journeys and possess large fuel tank capacities.
