Diesel and RON 98 Petrol Prices Surge Mid-April
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Prices of non-subsidised fuel oil (BBM) types, namely diesel and RON 98 petrol, have surged at Pertamina and bp public fuelling stations (SPBU) due to the outbreak of war between the United States-Israel and Iran. Quoting Pertamina’s official website in Jakarta on Monday, there was a price increase for several non-subsidised BBM products, namely Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex, effective Saturday (18/4/2026). The following are the details of Pertamina SPBU fuel prices in Jakarta. Pertalite price: Rp10,000 per litre; Subsidised diesel: Rp6,800 per litre; Pertamax: Rp12,300 per litre; Pertamax Turbo: Rp19,400, up from Rp13,100 per litre; Pertamax Green: Rp12,900 per litre; Dexlite: Rp23,600, up from Rp14,200 per litre; and Pertamina Dex: Rp23,900, up from Rp14,500 per litre. Meanwhile, fuel prices at bp SPBU are experiencing a similar situation to Pertamina SPBU, with a price increase for diesel-type BBM. The following are the details of bp SPBU fuel prices: BP Ultimate: Rp12,930 per litre; BP 92: Rp12,390 per litre; and BP Ultimate Diesel: Rp25,560 per litre, up from Rp14,620 per litre. In the meantime, Shell and Vivo SPBU have not announced price adjustments since the outbreak of the United States-Israel war with Iran. To date, Shell SPBU is still experiencing stock shortages. The details of Shell SPBU fuel prices since 1 March 2026 are as follows: Shell Super: Rp12,390 per litre; and V-Power Diesel: Rp14,620 per litre. Vivo SPBU has also not announced price changes since early March 2026 and is now beginning to experience BBM stock shortages for diesel types. The following is the list of Vivo SPBU fuel prices announced on 1 March 2026: Revvo 92: Rp12,390 per litre; Revvo 95: Rp12,930 per litre; and Diesel Primus: Rp14,610 per litre.
