Didit Prabowo Meets Jokowi, Gerindra Says It's a Common Courtesy Call

The son of President Prabowo Subianto, Ragowo Hediprasetyo or Didit Prabowo, met with Indonesia’s 7th President, Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Gerindra Party spokesperson Bahtra Banong stated that the meeting was a common occurrence.

“Mas Didit’s visit to Pak Jokowi is a normal and good thing. This is because Mas Didit and Pak Jokowi’s family have had a good relationship for a long time,” Bahtra told reporters on Thursday (18/6/2026).

Bahtra said President Prabowo Subianto always teaches cadres and family members to maintain good relations with national figures. According to him, the meeting was part of an effort to maintain that relationship.

“Pak Prabowo always teaches, not only to his family, but also to all Gerindra cadres, to always build good relations with anyone without exception, especially with our national figures,” he said.

Didit arrived at Jokowi’s residence at 11.02 WIB on Thursday (18/6/2026). He was seen carrying several books.

“Hello,” Didit greeted reporters.

After greeting the journalists, Didit immediately hurried into Jokowi’s house. He appeared to be wearing a white shirt paired with dark blue trousers. Didit then held a closed-door meeting with Jokowi. The subject of the discussion between Didit and Jokowi is not yet known.
