Jakarta (ANTARA) - Actress Dian Sastrowardoyo supports the launch of a programme to facilitate free homecoming travel for small business owners through the ‘Dimudikin’ and ‘Kidum’ initiatives, spearheaded by Sprite.

Dian explained that both programmes were created to facilitate free homecoming travel for small business owners, allowing them to reunite with their families during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

“Small businesses hold a special place in everyone’s heart, including mine. I understand that small business owners also want to spend Eid with their families,” said Dian at a Ramadan event in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, on Thursday.

The ‘Dimudikin’ programme provides travel facilities for approximately 300 small business owners to destinations in North Java, South Java, and Sumatra.

Participants who have registered online and are coordinated through a messaging application are scheduled to depart on 16 March 2026 from the Southeast Plaza, Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Jakarta.

There are three main routes for this programme: the northern coastal route to Surabaya, the southern route to Malang, and a route to Sumatra, specifically Lampung.

Dian said that the participants in this free homecoming programme will also be provided with a travel kit containing a jacket, neck pillow, foldable bag, snack box, and a supply of drinks.

Meanwhile, ‘Kidum’ (the reverse of ‘mudik’, meaning homecoming) is designed to bring a group of 10 selected families of small business owners from Sumatra and Lampung to Jakarta.

The group is scheduled to depart from the Bakauheni Port on 17 and 25 March 2026, using ferries and buses.

In addition to the homecoming travel assistance, Dian also participated in a digital promotional video targeting 330,000 small business owners, utilising artificial intelligence technology.

This initiative allows ordinary small business owners to leverage Dian’s status as a well-known public figure through a personalised content system, using their own creative prompts for advertising their businesses.
