The peak event of the Denpasar Youth (D’Youth) Festival 6.0 is ready to be held on 11-12 July 2026. The annual agenda of the Denpasar City Government (Pemkot) carries the theme ‘Feel The Growth’. The event, designed as a space for expression for the city’s young generation, has been running since mid-June. A number of well-known musicians will perform at the peak night, including Dialog Dini Hari.

Throughout the D’Youth Festival, there have been various creative activities from the youth of Denpasar, involving communities and young entrepreneurs.

Denpasar Deputy Mayor I Kadek Agus Arya Wibawa stated that D’Youth Festival is an effort to provide a strategic space for the younger generation to show a positive side in producing creative works.

According to Arya, the theme ‘Feel The Growth’ represents a phase of growth that is not only seen physically but can be felt together by the entire community, creative economy players, and communities.

‘It is hoped that there will be organic, deeply rooted, and sustainable growth. Encouraging new creative ideas, so that growth is no longer forced, but emerges naturally and has a real impact,’ he explained at a press conference in Denpasar on Wednesday (1/7/2026).

A number of participating communities in the D’Youth Festival have become an attraction. ‘I am also interested in the tattoo community, it turns out there is potential there. We have tattoo artists who have worked in Germany. In one session, they can tattoo 25-30 people. So, there is economic value there,’ Arya Wibawa elaborated.

He also noted that the event, taking place at Puputan Badung Field or I Gusti Ngurah Made Agung, showcases the heritage area owned by Denpasar City.

‘This is actually a good moment, so that next year it can be even better. We want to introduce the heritage spots in Denpasar City,’ he explained.

Meanwhile, the Daily Chair of Bkraf Denpasar, Ari Setiya Wibawa, conveyed that the peak of the 2026 D’Youth Festival will feature well-known musicians, including Ari Lesmana, Dialog Dini Hari, Wet Project, and several others. He hopes that this year’s visitor numbers will increase.

‘Last year, public enthusiasm brought in 30,000 visitors and 70 communities participated. This year, we hope the number of visits will increase further,’ said Ari.
