DHL, PT Pos tie up

BANDUNG (JP): Freight forwarder PT Birotika Semesta/DHL
Worldwide Express has signed a memorandum of understanding with
state postal company PT Pos Indonesia to improve air delivery
services from Indonesia.

DHL's technical advisor, Mike Fitzpatrick, said on Monday that
under the agreement both companies would work to develop new
services for PT Pos to send documents and parcels door-to-door to
various destinations overseas.

He said in order to meet the increasing demand for document
and parcel deliveries here, DHL had developed new service and
operation centers across the country and a new airside facility
at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta. (25/cst)
