DHL Express has officially opened a service point in the Fatmawati area as an effort to expand customer access to international and domestic shipping services. Located in one of the most dynamic commercial corridors in South Jakarta, this facility is expected to bring DHL Express services closer to the community and businesses in the area.

This service point also aims to support the increasing volume of export, import, and domestic shipments driven by UMKM players, online sellers, creative workers, and corporate customers who require time-critical shipping services through DHL’s global air network and domestic express routes.

Indonesia’s cross-border e-commerce activity continues to accelerate, with a market value reaching $120 billion, supported by rising digital adoption and high demand for imports to Indonesia as well as exports to global buyers.

Cities like Jakarta remain the primary hubs for this growth due to their high connectivity and density of commercial centres.

International shipments are projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.99% through 2026–2031, indicating increasing reliance on international express services, particularly for shipments requiring fast transit times and high reliability.

“Many of our customers currently ship to various destinations, exporting samples and finished goods to overseas clients, importing high-value items or materials, and sending domestic packages to major cities in Indonesia,” said Ahmad Mohamad, Senior Technical Advisor at DHL Express Indonesia.

“The Fatmawati service point was built to further strengthen our customer service point network and provide greater convenience for customers in the area,” he added.

Situated in a strategic location near Pondok Indah, Cipete, TB Simatupang, and Cilandak, this service point serves the business ecosystem, retail brands, expatriate communities, and rapidly growing digital-first businesses in South Jakarta.

“The opening of the Fatmawati service point further strengthens DHL Express Indonesia’s national footprint, affirming our presence in key locations to support customer shipping needs,” Ahmad concluded.
