Dharmasraya Regency Ensures Safety of Construction Materials for People's School
Dharmasraya (ANTARA) - The Regent of Dharmasraya, West Sumatra, Annisa Suci Ramadhani, has assured the availability of construction materials in the area to meet the needs for the physical construction of the People’s School.
“We have ensured the raw material issue, with many entrepreneurs holding C mining permits who can assist with their raw materials, and we have already provided that,” she said in Pulau Punjung on Thursday.
The regent made this statement in response to the local government’s support for accelerating the physical work on the People’s School, targeted for completion by the Ministry of Public Works in June 2026.
She said another form of support from the local government is helping to provide accommodation for around 2,000 construction workers for the People’s School.
She stated that she has coordinated the availability of fuel with Pertamina West Sumatra to ensure oil stocks meet the needs of the construction equipment in operation.
“Not only us at the regency level, the province is also supporting in preparing the required raw materials or materials,” she said.
Previously, the Minister of Public Works of the Republic of Indonesia, Dody Hanggodo, inspected the construction of Phase II of the People’s School in Dharmasraya Regency, West Sumatra, on Wednesday (6/5).
