PULAU PUNJUNG – Status as one of the six best national nominees cannot be proven solely through presentations and stacks of documents. The Dharmasraya Regency Government, West Sumatra, must now demonstrate that the ease of licensing is genuinely felt by the public and business actors.

This verification took place on Tuesday (11/8/2026), when a field assessment team for the 2026 Integrated Licensing Service (PTSP) and Regional Business Acceleration performance evaluation visited Dharmasraya Regency.

The assessment team consisted of Dannu Idris from the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Eduardo Edwin Ramda from the Regional Autonomy Implementation Monitoring Committee (KPPOD), M.S. Prasetyo from the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM, and Satrio from PT Surveyor Indonesia.

The team’s arrival was welcomed by Dharmasraya Regent Annisa Suci Ramadhani at the Regency Auditorium Building.

For the local government, the assessors’ visit is a momentum to prove that licensing service reform is not merely a slogan of digitalisation, procedural simplification, or the utilisation of the Online Single Submission (OSS) system.

“This is an opportunity for us to show how the regional government has built licensing services that are increasingly easy, fast, transparent, and provide certainty for the community and the business world,” said Annisa.

Previously, the Dharmasraya Regency Government had participated in a presentation at the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM on 5 August 2026. In this field verification, the various claims made during the presentation are being tested through the actual implementation of services on the ground.

The first female regent in the Minang realm stated that the regional government is ready to prove that the programmes presented to the assessment team are not just concepts or administrative documents.

“We are ready to show that what we conveyed in the presentation is not just a concept, not just documents, but a process that we truly implement,” she said.

The Head of the Dharmasraya Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP), Naldi, said the regional government has prepared various aspects that are part of the assessment.
