Dharmasraya Police Arrest Suspect in Underage Sexual Intercourse Case

The Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of the Dharmasraya Resort Police has uncovered a case of alleged sexual intercourse with a minor. The suspect, identified by the initial M alias Muhlisin (bin Antoni), was taken into custody without resistance.

The case originated from an official report numbered LP/B/137/VII/2026/SPKT/Polres Dharmasraya/Polda Sumbar, dated 18 July 2026. The incident allegedly took place at a hotel in the Hotel Alam Raya area, Koto Baru District, Dharmasraya Regency.

Following an intensive field investigation, the operations team, together with the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the Dharmasraya Police Criminal Investigation Unit, led by Criminal Investigation Head AKP Andri. A, tracked down the suspect’s hiding place. On Tuesday (21/7/2026) at around 8:00 PM Western Indonesian Time, officers received precise information and immediately moved to the location. The suspect was arrested at the Airumeg Factory in Nagari Gunung Medan, Sitiung District, Dharmasraya Regency.

The suspect and several pieces of evidence were then taken to the Dharmasraya Police headquarters to undergo further investigation and legal processing. For his actions, the suspect is charged under Article 473, Paragraphs (1) and (2) letter b of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code (KUHP), which carries a maximum prison sentence of 12 years.
