Dharmala gets ISO-9002

JAKARTA (JP): Bank Dharmala has received an ISO-9002 standardization certificate for business operation and credits, the first given to an Indonesian financial institution.

"Applying the ISO-9002 is part of our commitment to continue to improve our quality in the sector of corporate banking up to the international standard," Bank Dharmala's president, T.A. Sutanto, told the press yesterday.

The certificate is effective for three years, during which time the bank is subject to auditing every six months to maintain the quality set by the certification.

Set up in 1989, Bank Dharmala is a financial subsidiary of Dharmala Group, which saw 40% of its total profits in 1993 come from its financial subsidiaries. (13)
