Dharmala gets ISO-9002
JAKARTA (JP): Bank Dharmala has received an ISO-9002
standardization certificate for business operation and credits,
the first given to an Indonesian financial institution.
"Applying the ISO-9002 is part of our commitment to continue
to improve our quality in the sector of corporate banking up to
the international standard," Bank Dharmala's president, T.A.
Sutanto, told the press yesterday.
The certificate is effective for three years, during which
time the bank is subject to auditing every six months to maintain
the quality set by the certification.
Set up in 1989, Bank Dharmala is a financial subsidiary of
Dharmala Group, which saw 40% of its total profits in 1993 come
from its financial subsidiaries. (13)
