Dharma Jaya Supports Smooth Qurban Operations for PWNU Jakarta
As Eid al-Adha 2026 approaches, Perumda Dharma Jaya is collaborating with the Nahdlatul Ulama Jakarta Regional Board (PWNU DKI Jakarta) to provide high-quality and hygienic sacrificial meat. Irwan Nusyirwan, Business Director of Perumda Dharma Jaya, stated that the company has prepared the best slaughter facilities to ensure all processes meet standards. “We greatly appreciate and thank PWNU DKI Jakarta and numerous institutions, both community organisations and government bodies, for entrusting Perumda Dharma Jaya with slaughtering, packaging, and distribution services. Currently, PWNU DKI Jakarta is collaborating with Perumda Dharma Jaya, using the local slaughterhouse with 12 cattle weighing between 400 and 800 kilograms each,” said Irwan. Irwan emphasised that Dharma Jaya’s primary focus is not quantity but quality standards. All cattle are verified to meet ASUH criteria (Safe, Healthy, Whole, and Halal). “Each cow undergoes antemortem health checks before slaughter and postmortem inspections to ensure carcass quality. Slaughtering is conducted by certified halal butchers at our standardised facilities to guarantee meat freshness for the public,” he explained. Furthermore, Irwan stated that the processed meat will be evenly distributed across Jakarta. The company is fully committed to facilitating smooth distribution so that the benefits of the sacrifice reach those in need. “For us, this task is an amanah. We ensure the sacrificial meat distributed is of the highest quality, processed cleanly and professionally. We are ready to support the event to proceed solemnly, smoothly, and bring blessings to Jakarta residents,” Irwan concluded. (E-4)
