Dharma Jaya Provides 900 Cattle for Eid al-Adha 1447 H, Ensured to Be Healthy and Halal
JAKARTA - Perumda Dharma Jaya is preparing 900 head of cattle to fulfil the sacrificial animal needs of Jakarta residents for Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah. The company’s President Director, Raditya Endra Budiman, stated that all the cattle provided have undergone strict health checks. The animals are ensured to be safe, healthy, intact, and halal (ASUH). To support the sacrificial process, Dharma Jaya is also optimising the Animal Slaughterhouse (RPH) in Cakung, East Jakarta. This facility can process around 200 to 250 head of cattle per day. A total of 100 personnel have been prepared, including certified halal slaughterers (Juleha) and a packaging team. In addition to slaughtering, Dharma Jaya also provides meat packaging services to make distribution to the community neater and easier. “Through this integrated service system, we ensure that hygiene aspects are maintained from upstream to downstream. Additionally, we also guarantee that the management of slaughter waste is carried out in accordance with applicable environmental regulations,” said Raditya. Furthermore, Perumda Dharma Jaya provides the latest data on animal classifications and price details digitally. Meanwhile, the Assistant for Economy and Finance of the DKI Jakarta Regional Secretariat, Suharini Eliawati, assured that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is ready to welcome Eid al-Adha. She stated that the preparations are not only about animal availability but also the implementation of the sacrifice to run orderly, clean, and environmentally friendly. The provincial government also urges sacrificial committees to use environmentally friendly containers to reduce plastic waste. In addition, slaughterers are expected to have Juleha certificates so that the process complies with regulations. “In principle, we are preparing as best as possible. Not only from the side of sacrificial animal needs, but also how it is organised, from Id prayer preparations, the slaughtering process, to meat distribution to the community,” said Suharini. Animal health supervision will be carried out starting one month before Eid al-Adha, from the regions to the sacrificial animal sales locations.
