Dharma Jaya Chosen by Institutions for Eid al-Adha Sacrificial Slaughter Services
Dharma Jaya Regional Public Enterprise has once again been entrusted by various government agencies and community organisations to handle Eid al-Adha sacrificial animal slaughter for 1447 AH (2026 CE). Dewi Indriati Rano, Vice Chair of the Jakarta Provincial PKK Movement Team, praised Dharma Jaya’s services during a visit to the Djawara outlet at the company’s office in Cakung, East Jakarta, on Thursday (28 May). She noted the high-quality meat sold at affordable prices.
“I recently shopped at Djawara in Dharma Jaya’s Cakung office. The meat is fresh and much cheaper than market prices,” Dewi said in a written statement on Friday (29 May).
Dewi added that Dharma Jaya is now the preferred choice for many institutions and community organisations for slaughter and packaging services due to its professionalism and reliability.
“Usually, slaughtering animals during Eid is messy and smelly, so we trust Dharma Jaya. Many agencies and my friends have asked, and Dharma Jaya can accommodate them. It’s remarkable,” she said.
She noted that the trust in Dharma Jaya reflects its adherence to ASUH principles (safe, healthy, intact, halal) and certified halal slaughterers.
Meanwhile, Amirudin, Head of the KORPRI BKD Jakarta Secretariat, stated that Jakarta’s KORPRI this year distributed 13 sacrificial cows from regional agencies and one presidential assistance cow, slaughtered and distributed to stunting-affected communities. All KORPRI sacrificial slaughter processes were conducted at Dharma Jaya facilities as per leadership directives.
“We from Jakarta Provincial Civil Servants distributed 13 cows, and the slaughter was done at Dharma Jaya,” Amirudin said.
He praised the collaboration with Dharma Jaya for providing convenience and transparency regarding slaughter costs and animal procurement.
“With Dharma Jaya, the price is fixed, including slaughter fees, so we’re greatly assisted in terms of transparency,” he explained.
Amirudin added that Jakarta KORPRI routinely entrusts Dharma Jaya with sacrificial slaughter each year.
He noted that those making sacrifices can buy animals from Dharma Jaya or elsewhere, with the company’s set slaughter fees. Dharma Jaya’s professionalism ensures safe distribution of sacrificial meat to the public.
“The slaughter follows ASUH principles: safe, healthy, intact, and halal. The animals are checked by health teams to ensure suitability, and slaughter is carried out by certified halal slaughterers (Juleha),” he concluded.
The ‘Blessed Sacrifice, Empowering Villages’ programme aims to strengthen food security for approximately 3,800 impoverished families.
