Jakarta (ANTARA) - DFSK has officially opened the pre-order period for its first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) in the Indonesian market, the E5 Plus, which runs from 23 June to 28 July. Prospective buyers will receive a range of exclusive additional benefits, including a 15.6-inch family entertainment screen and free periodic servicing for five years. “This vehicle is an evolution of our products that prioritises efficiency, comfort, and technology in one package. With the support of the DE-i Smart Power System and a high-capacity PHEV battery, this model delivers optimal efficiency while maintaining performance and driving comfort in various conditions,” said Cing Hok Rifin, Sales Center Director of PT Sokonindo Automobile, in a statement. The DFSK E5 Plus is a 6-passenger mid-size SUV designed to meet the needs of modern families seeking comfort, efficiency, and technology in a single vehicle. Equipped with the latest Plug-in Hybrid technology, the car offers a combined range of up to 1,400 kilometres based on NEDC standards, and the ability to drive up to 140 kilometres in pure electric mode. Interested buyers can participate in the pre-order with a symbolic booking fee of Rp5,000 and enjoy total exclusive benefits worth up to Rp60 million. The benefits package includes a 15.6-inch family entertainment screen, free periodic servicing for up to five years, a 7 kW wall charger, and insurance protection bonuses of up to Rp20 million from selected financing partners. The presence of this new SUV further expands PT Sokonindo Automobile’s electrified vehicle portfolio in the Indonesian market. Previously, the company introduced the DFSK Gelora E as an electric commercial vehicle, followed by the SERES E1 in 2023 as an electric mini car for urban mobility.
