DFSK E5 Plus Secures 1,100 Pre-Bookings in Indonesia

Jakarta (ANTARA) — PT Sokonindo Automobile’s Chief Operating Officer Franz Wang said that 1,100 units of the DFSK E5 Plus were ordered during the pre-booking period from 23 June to 28 July 2026.

“The DFSK E5 Plus has received a fairly positive response. During the pre-booking period, the vehicle has already been ordered 1,100 times,” he said in Jakarta on Wednesday.

According to him, the features of the plug-in hybrid vehicle have drawn a positive response from consumers.

“The plug-in hybrid technology that eases range anxiety, cabin comfort, rear entertainment features, and ventilated seats up to the second row are among the most appreciated aspects,” he explained.

The DFSK E5 Plus is equipped with a 1,500 cc four-cylinder petrol engine and a 160 kW electric motor.

The vehicle offers a combined range of up to 1,400 km based on the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) testing standard.

In EV Mode, powered by electricity alone, the car can travel 140 km, according to the company.

With the Smart Power System DE-i technology and a high-capacity PHEV battery, the DFSK E5 Plus is claimed to deliver performance, efficiency, and driving comfort.

The DFSK E5 Plus measures 4,760 mm in length, 1,710 mm in width, and 2,785 mm in height.

The car is equipped with a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), which includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and rear cross-traffic warning.

Other features include forward collision warning, open door warning, and rear collision warning, traffic jam assistance, blind spot detection, lane change assistance, and collision mitigation support.

In Indonesia, the company offers the DFSK E5 Plus at Rp500 million, as well as the complete DFSK E5 Plus NICE Package at Rp550 million.
