DFSK E5 Plus Secures 1,100 Pre-Bookings in Indonesia

PT Sokonindo Automobile Chief Operating Officer Franz Wang announced that 1,100 units of the DFSK E5 Plus were ordered during the initial booking period from 23 June to 28 July 2026. “The DFSK E5 Plus has received a quite positive response. During this pre-booking period, 1,100 units of this vehicle have been ordered,” he said in Jakarta on Wednesday. According to him, the features of the Plug-in Hybrid vehicle received positive feedback from consumers. “The Plug-in Hybrid technology, which reduces range anxiety, along with cabin comfort, the rear entertainment feature, and ventilated seats up to the second row, were some of the most appreciated aspects,” he explained. The DFSK E5 Plus is equipped with a 1,500 cc 4-cylinder petrol engine and a 160 kW electric motor. The car offers a combined driving range of up to 1,400 km based on The New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) testing standard. In EV Mode, relying solely on electric power, the company states the car can travel 140 km. Supported by the DE-i Smart Power System technology and a high-capacity PHEV battery, the DFSK E5 Plus is claimed to deliver performance, efficiency, and driving comfort. The DFSK E5 Plus measures 4,760 mm in length, 1,710 mm in width, and 2,785 mm in height. The car is equipped with a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) that includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and rear cross-traffic alert. Other features include forward collision warning, door open warning, rear collision warning, traffic jam assist, blind spot detection, lane change assist, and collision mitigation support. In Indonesia, the company offers the DFSK E5 Plus at a price of Rp500 million and the complete DFSK E5 Plus NICE Package at a price of Rp550 million.
