The price adjustment is made with reference to the formula set by the government.

Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has announced an increase in the price of non-subsidised diesel fuel such as dexlite to Rp23,700 per litre starting 1 September, from the previous Rp19,700 per litre.

“The price adjustment is made with reference to the formula set by the government,” said VP Corporate Communication of Pertamina Patra Niaga Kitty Andhora in an official statement confirmed by ANTARA from Jakarta on Monday.

Factors considered in setting the price include world crude oil prices, the rupiah exchange rate, taxes, and other relevant factors including the purchasing power of fuel users.

“The price adjustment is made only for some non-subsidised fuel products, namely Pertamax Turbo, Pertamina Dex, and Dexlite,” said Kitty.

Details of the Pertamina Dex price increase are from Rp21,150 per litre to Rp25,200 per litre starting 1 September 2026.

Furthermore, the price of Pertamax Turbo has also been adjusted, rising from Rp18,300 per litre in August to Rp19,600 per litre starting 1 September 2026.

“Meanwhile, other non-subsidised fuel products, such as Pertamax 92 and Pertamax Green 95, have not undergone price adjustments. This is done by taking into account economic conditions, purchasing power, and the social conditions of the community,” said Kitty.

Kitty further emphasised that this price adjustment does not change Pertamina Patra Niaga’s commitment to maintaining product quality and providing the best service to consumers.

Pertamina Patra Niaga also urged the public to purchase fuel according to their needs and use products that match vehicle specifications so that fuel use is on target.
