Dexa Medica, through its Dharma Dexa initiative, continues to run the Cek Kesehatan Segitiga programme, a sustainable effort supporting the government’s drive to strengthen early detection of non-communicable diseases. Since its launch in 2024, the programme has reached more than 15,000 people through blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol screenings, complemented by health education, direct consultations with doctors, and physical activities such as zumba and poundfit. The most recent event was held in Surabaya on 12–13 July 2026. With the Surabaya event, Cek Kesehatan Segitiga has now reached over 15,000 participants across various cities, including Bandung, Bogor, Cirebon, Jakarta, Karawang, Makassar, Solo, Surabaya, South Tangerang, and Yogyakarta. Nationally, approximately 63% of participants were found to have at least one risk factor for non-communicable diseases. Of the total participants examined, 40.05% had high blood pressure, 35.2% had high cholesterol, and 14.88% showed high blood sugar levels. A single participant could have more than one risk factor. These findings indicate that many risk factors for non-communicable diseases go unnoticed by the public because they often present no symptoms in the early stages. Regular health checks are therefore crucial so that risks can be identified and addressed before they develop into more serious complications. Sonny Himawan, Head of Corporate Communications at Dexa Group, stated that Cek Kesehatan Segitiga is part of Dexa Medica’s ongoing contribution to supporting the transformation of Indonesia’s healthcare services, which increasingly emphasises promotive and preventive efforts. ‘As a national pharmaceutical company, we believe that contributing to public health must also start with prevention. Through Cek Kesehatan Segitiga, we seek to support government programmes by providing accessible health screenings, education, doctor consultations, and healthy living activities,’ Sonny said. He added that implementing the programme requires collaboration to extend its benefits to wider community groups. ‘Through collaboration with the government, healthcare professionals, educational institutions, and communities, we hope more people will be encouraged to get health checks and take early preventive measures,’ he said. Mateus Ramidi, Manager of Dharma Dexa, noted that the Surabaya event was designed across two locations with different participant characteristics.
