Jakarta, VIVA – Health products manufacturer Dexa Group continues to expand public access to early detection and health education through the Cek Segitiga and Cek Kesehatan Gratis programmes. Entering its third year, this initiative via Dharma Dexa has reached more than 12,000 residents in various cities across Indonesia.

PT Dexa Medica’s President Director, V Hery Sutanto, stated that the Cek Kesehatan Gratis programme is part of Dexa Group’s commitment to supporting the government’s targets for promotional and preventive health approaches.

“The Cek Kesehatan Gratis programme has entered its third year and has reached more than 12,000 people in various cities. We want to encourage the public to become increasingly aware that maintaining health should start with simple steps, one of which is routine health checks,” said Hery, quoted from his statement on Tuesday, 12 May 2026.

According to Hery, early detection needs to become a habit for the public so that potential health risks can be identified earlier and addressed more appropriately. “In the future, we want to continue expanding the reach of this programme so that more people gain access to health education and checks, especially to help prevent the risks of non-communicable diseases from an early stage,” he added.

The commitment to expanding access to quality healthcare has also been part of Dexa Medica’s journey through OGB Merah, the branded generic drug line produced since 1991. For more than three decades, OGB Merah has been available as an affordable quality medicine option for the wider public. Through the Cek Kesehatan Gratis programme, this commitment is extended in the form of public health education and early detection.

During the implementation of Cek Segitiga and Cek Kesehatan Gratis at GOR Saparua, Bandung, on Sunday (10/5/2026), Dexa Group collaborated with RS Santo Yusup to provide free health checks for 602 residents. Of the total participants who underwent checks, 67.8% were identified as having a high potential health risk.

The check results showed that 44.9% of participants were detected with hypertension, 37.2% had high cholesterol levels, and 8.6% were indicated to have diabetes. These findings highlight the importance of regular health checks, especially since some participants were unaware of their potential health risks before attending the event.
