'Dewi Yull Expose' talk show on SCTV

JAKARTA (JP): Privately-run television network SCTV will begin
broadcasting a new talk show program entitled Dewi Yull Expose on
Sundays at 11.30 a.m., starting June 11.

Nor Pud Binarto, an executive of C-Work, which is in charge of
handling the programming, told The Jakarta Post on Saturday that
the new program will feature the daily lives and thoughts of
noted experts in the fields of politics, social affairs, economy
and culture.

The experts to be featured will start with noted cultural
observer Bagong Kusudiardjo and be followed by, among others,
Gajah Mada University's communication expert Ashadi Siregar and
lawyer T. Mulya Lubis.

The program, which is being held in conjunction with the
commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the independence of the
Republic of Indonesia, is sponsored by PT Giz Cipta Pratama,
Miwon and SCTV.

Nor Pud said that the program, presented by Dewi Yull, who is
a actress and singer, is expected to bring a new innovation in
Indonesia's television talk show programs.

"I feel that this talk show, prepared by C-Work, is much
easier to perceive, without having the intention of reducing the
sources' ways of thinking," Dewi Yull said. (31/hhr)
