During a working visit to inspect the Central Papua Provincial Government Centre development area on Wednesday (3/6), Ribka expressed her appreciation for the consistency of the Central Papua Provincial Government in overseeing the construction of various government facilities, which are currently showing significant progress.

“First, I would like to express my appreciation to the local government for their consistency; we can all see the progress in the construction of three offices: the Governor’s office, the Papuan People’s Assembly (MRP), and the Regional House of Representatives (DPRP), which are all advancing,” Ribka stated in her remarks. She noted that this progress demonstrates the local government’s commitment to preparing representative administrative facilities to support governance in Central Papua.

In addition to the Governor’s office, the MRP, and the DPRP, several other supporting facilities are also showing positive development. “There is also the construction of three towers; I highly appreciate the Governor, Vice Governor, and the regional MRP and DPR for protecting and ensuring this development can proceed. I believe the development of Central Papua will become a legacy and serve as the starting point for the resurgence of the Papuan people towards a prosperous Papua,” she added.

On the same occasion, the Deputy Minister of Public Works, Diana Kusumastuti, also expressed her appreciation for the progress of the Central Papua government centre. Based on the inspection, the construction of the Governor’s office, the Central Papua MRP, the Central Papua DPRP, and three supporting towers is showing good development.

“There are Building A, Building B, and Building C located near the Governor’s office, the DPRP, and the MRP. Alhamdulillah, looking at it today, the progress is quite good,” said Diana. She added that the current construction progress is proceeding according to plan and is expected to be completed on schedule by December 2026. Furthermore, Diana emphasised that the central government will continue to coordinate with the Central Papua Provincial Government regarding various technical construction needs to ensure all projects meet their established targets.
