Students from the Police Middle-Level Staff and Leadership School (Serdik Sespimmen) Polri 2026 Dikreg 66, Training Group IX, conducted a field observation at Bangkalan Police Station under East Java’s Regional Police. The activity was carried out as part of a level III management course field observation for the students.
The objective of the activity was to enhance the managerial leadership capacity of Polri’s mid-ranking officers. In total, 10 students from Training Group IX participated in the activity and were accompanied by four supervisors from Polri’s Education and Training Center (Lemdiklat), namely Brigadier General Misbahul Munauwar, Senior Commissioner Sigit Kusmardjoko, Senior Commissioner Fauza Barito, and Senior Commissioner Prasetyo Adhi Wibowo.
“Through Environmental Health Audit (OHA) and Environmental Scanning (ES) studies, students are expected to develop strategic thinking patterns, enhance environmental analysis-based decision-making capacity, and formulate implementation-oriented improvement recommendations focused on organisational performance,” said the Head of Polri’s Education and Training Center, represented by Brigadier General Misbahul Munauwar, on Thursday (26 February 2026).
The Bangkalan Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Wibowo, expressed his gratitude for the activity. He hoped the activity would improve the managerial capabilities of the students.
“I hope this activity can provide valuable experience for the students in enriching their insights and managerial capabilities,” he said.
Meanwhile, Training Group IX Director Binsar Hatorang Sianturi noted that the activity served as preparation for the students. He hoped the knowledge gained could be implemented in the field.
“This activity is very useful as preparation so that we can apply strategic management in anticipating and addressing changes that occur in the field,” said Binsar.
