Developing an Integrated Township Ecosystem, Parkland Podomoro Karawang Affirms It Is Not Only Oriented Towards Building Houses
The development of Parkland Podomoro Karawang has been affirmed as carrying a broader vision than simply building a housing estate. The integration of residential, commercial areas, lifestyle facilities, and business district development is directed towards creating a new destination capable of supporting Karawang’s growth.
Tedi Guswana, Regional Marketing Director of Agung Podomoro Land, emphasised that this concept is one of the main differentiators of Parkland Podomoro Karawang, especially as residential development of this scale and completeness is still relatively rare in Karawang.
“We want to maintain this consistency by presenting an area that is not only good in terms of product, but also has facilities and an ecosystem capable of providing added value for the community,” said Tedi, quoted from his statement on Saturday, 29 August 2026.
He also stressed that Parkland Podomoro is not only oriented towards building houses, but building a township ecosystem that is expected to grow alongside the future needs of the Karawang community, particularly as Karawang serves as a pillar of West Java’s economy and an industrial centre.
To that end, on an area of approximately 130 hectares, Parkland Podomoro Karawang integrates a premium residential area focused on the development of the Emory and Evergreen clusters, a retail area supporting lifestyle needs through the La Promenade and Neo Promenade shophouse developments, and a Central Business District (CBD).
This commitment has been recognised. Parkland Podomoro Karawang has reaffirmed its position as one of Agung Podomoro Land’s premium township developments in Karawang by winning the ‘Best Grand Development and Premium Facilities’ award at the Indonesia Property & Bank Award 2026.
The award recognises the development concept of Parkland Podomoro Karawang for three consecutive years since 2024. “This award is both a strength and proof for us that what has been developed at Parkland Podomoro Karawang is appreciated,” he concluded.
