Developers fail to meet municipal requirements
Developers fail to meet municipal requirements
JAKARTA (JP): Thirty-seven developers in North Jakarta have
yet to fulfill their obligation to turn over social and public
facilities worth Rp 2.4 trillion to the city administration.
North Jakarta administration secretary Radji Pramono said
during a hearing with several city councilors on Wednesday that
of the 38 developers in North Jakarta, excluding Sunter, Pluit,
Ancol and Marunda, only one has fulfilled all the requirements
set out by the administration.
He said the 38 developers have 56 permit letters for the
appropriation and use of land. "Currently they have the right to
use a total of 1,1005 hectares of land," Radji was quoted by
Antara as saying.
Radji said the 37 developers should have built social and
public facilities, worth Rp 2.4 trillion, and handed them over to
the city administration. So far facilities worth only Rp 95.69
billion have been given to the city administration.
He revealed that PT Sumarecon Agung topped the arrears list
with facilities owed worth Rp 1 trillion.
Next came PT Green Garden (Rp106.8 billion), PT Bangun Tjipta
Sarana (Rp 171.6 billion), PT Tawima Utama (Rp115.58 billion), PT
Nusa Kirana RE (Rp109,99 billion), PT Taman Sejahtera (Rp179.69
billion), PT Budi Graha Permai (Rp127.08 billion) and PT Cakung
Remaja Indah Jaya Housing (Rp84.66 billion).
The other delinquent developers include PT Metrika Utama, PT
JIEP, PT Persada Graha Permai, PT Metrik Elcipta, PT Setia Cipta
Dinamika, PT Nusa Persada, PT Sinar Multisun C, PT Sinar Mas
Griya, PT Bangun Tjipta Pratama, PT Kotindo Karya,
PT First City Success, PT PPL Cempaka Putih, PT Surya Wisuda, PT
Multi Bina Pura, PT Koesbiyono Sarmanhadi, PT Graha Rekayasa
Abadi, PT Hustani Cipta Jaya, PPL Pluit, PT Pujiadi Prestige, PT
Sumber Mitra Corporindomas, PT Baranangsiang Agung, PT Karabha
Unggul, PT Daya Indria Permai, PT Wirakarsa Widhitama, PT Sinar
Mas Griya, PT Sinar Berlian Indah and Inkopol.
Radji said many of the developers have built public facilities
which do not meet the requirements set because they want to
manage them themselves instead of giving them to the city
administration.
Citing an example, Radji said the Media Karya health center
which has been operating for eight years was built by PT
Sumarecon Agung. "But city administration refused to accept the
building because the health center was established without a
legal building permit."
Radji also said that 10 developers have yet to start building
houses on the land already appropriated. The developers are PT
Kotindo Karya, PT Cakung Remaja Indah Jaya, PT Taman Sejahtera,
PT Surya Wisuda, PT Multi Bina Pura, PT Graha Rekayasa Abadi, PT
Barangsiang Agung, PT Sinar Mas Griya, PT Sinar Berlian Indah,
and Inkopol. (bas)
