Detention center visitor arrested

JAKARTA: Police arrested on Monday a woman who was on her way
to visit a detainee in the Jakarta Police's narcotics detention
center, finding one gram of shabu-shabu (crystal methamphetamine)
on her personage.

The police said Widyasari had arrived at the detention center
at about 1 p.m., and asked permission to visit a woman,
identified as Agustin.

She had passed the check gate -- where a guard had checked her
bag -- and was about to enter the center when the suspicion of
another guard was raised, due to her "strange behavior".

Conducting a body search, the police found a small package of
shabu-shabu in her trouser pocket. -- JP
