Details of the Warranty Scheme for Wuling Eksion EV and PHEV
JAKARTA - To support the launch of its latest electrification products and reaffirm its after-sales commitment, Wuling Motors provides comprehensive services for prospective Eksion buyers, both in the EV and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variants.
These services include a general warranty of 6 years or 150,000 kilometres (km) applicable to all variants. Specifically for the Eksion PHEV, Wuling offers an additional engine warranty of up to 8 years or 150,000 km.
In addition, both the Eksion EV and PHEV come with a 12V battery warranty of 1 year or 20,000 km, whichever comes first, subject to terms and conditions.
The three components covered include the power battery as the main energy source for the electric vehicle, the drive motor which functions to propel the vehicle, and the motor controller unit which regulates the power flow from the battery to the motor.
“This warranty applies to the first owner with vehicle use for personal purposes, with a maximum limit of 30,000 km per year, and the obligation to perform regular maintenance at the official Wuling network using genuine spare parts,” said Maulana Hakim, Aftersales Director of Wuling Motors, during the Eksion launch ceremony in Jakarta on Wednesday (22/4/2026).
Nevertheless, Danang Wiratmoko, Product Communication Manager of Wuling Motors, explained that the warranty remains valid even if the vehicle changes hands, although there may be adjustments to the validity period.
