Detailed Spatial Plans Connected to OSS Significantly Accelerate Investment Licensing Services
Jakarta - Detailed Spatial Plans (RDTR) connected to the Online Single Submission (OSS) system have had a significant impact on the speed of location permit services and other business licences.
The Director General of Spatial Planning at the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Suyus Windayana, stated that as many as 350 RDTRs connected to OSS have enabled approximately 340,000 investment application services.
According to Suyus, this compares with only around 20,000 services in areas that do not yet have RDTRs connected to OSS.
"If there is OSS, the service is faster — it can take just one day," he said, as quoted from the ATR/BPN Ministry's official website on Saturday, 14 June.
He explained that the ATR/BPN Ministry continues to encourage the acceleration of RDTR preparation across all regions. The target is to issue 2,000 RDTRs in the coming years, with more than 100 RDTRs issued annually.
Currently, 645 RDTRs have been compiled, but only 352 have been integrated with OSS.
To accelerate integration, the ATR/BPN Ministry is jointly preparing a circular letter (SE) with the Ministry of Investment so that all regional heads immediately connect their RDTRs to the OSS system.
"To make it easier, faster, and of course more attractive to investors," he concluded.
