Destry-Aida Test Results to Be Announced Tomorrow, Plenary Confirmation on 1 September

Jakarta - Member of House of Representatives Commission XI from the PDI Perjuangan faction, Harris Turino Kurniawan, revealed that the announcement of the fit and proper test results for Bank Indonesia Governor candidate Destry Damayanti and Senior Deputy Governor candidate Aida S. Budiman will be made tomorrow, Thursday (27/8/2026).

The announcement, Harris said, will be combined with the announcement of the fit and proper test results for Bank Indonesia Deputy Governor candidates Solikin M. Juhro and M. Anwar Bashori.

“The announcement will be tomorrow afternoon together with the Deputy Governors. The plenary session for Bank Indonesia (confirmation of the Governor and deputies) is on 1 September. As for OJK, it will be at the plenary tomorrow,” he said.

Destry and Aida underwent their fit and proper test today, Wednesday (26/8/2026). Both are sole candidates proposed by President Prabowo. Tomorrow, House Commission XI will conduct fit and proper tests on Solikin and Anwar for the positions of Bank Indonesia Deputy Governor on Thursday (27/8/2026).
