PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk. (RALS) recorded a net profit for the year of Rp265.28 billion in 2025. This figure represents a 15.52% year-on-year decline from Rp356.34 billion in 2024.

According to its financial report, the retail issuer’s revenue fell 16.31% year-on-year to Rp1.72 trillion. Consignment sales commissions also dropped 8.44% year-on-year to Rp642.94 billion. Consequently, total revenue decreased to Rp2.36 trillion from Rp2.76 trillion the previous year.

The largest revenue decline occurred in the Sumatra sales region, by 20.76% year-on-year, to Rp448 billion. Over the same period, sales in Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara, which form the backbone of the company, fell 13.71% to Rp1.7 trillion.

Although the cost of goods sold for outright purchases decreased 17.64% year-on-year to Rp1.13 trillion, gross profit also declined 11.04% year-on-year to Rp1.24 trillion.

RALS succeeded in reducing several expenses. For instance, selling expenses fell to Rp80.02 billion from Rp111.10 billion the previous year, and general and administrative expenses dropped to Rp1.08 trillion.

Other income rose to Rp137.45 billion. Other expenses decreased to Rp13.51 billion. Nevertheless, operating profit fell to Rp195.58 billion from Rp255.46 billion the previous year.

Even after closing several stores, RALS could not halt the pressure on its top-line and bottom-line performance in 2025. The number of Ramayana stores stood at 86, down four from the previous year. Meanwhile, the number of Robinson and Cahaya stores remained unchanged.

As of the end of December 2025, RALS employed 2,968 staff. This represents a 12.58% year-on-year decline, meaning Ramayana reduced its total workforce by 427 employees throughout the previous year.
