Jakarta — Deputy Trade Minister Dyah Roro Esti has expressed appreciation for the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the placement of approximately 4,000 Indonesian workers in Germany.
According to her statement in Jakarta on Saturday, Indonesia possesses significant potential to export professional services to the global market.
“Through credible and sustainable partnerships, we can open more employment opportunities for Indonesian workers, whilst simultaneously strengthening Indonesia’s competitiveness in the services sector,” said Roro Esti.
Deputy Trade Minister Roro Esti witnessed the signing of the MOU for the placement of 4,000 Indonesian workers in Germany between Aurelium Global Talent GmbH and PT Tenriawaru Elite Internasional in Jakarta on Tuesday (24 February 2026) via video conference.
“This collaboration demonstrates the substantial potential of Indonesia’s professional services exports in the global market,” added the Deputy Trade Minister.
The signing of this cooperation agreement represents a concrete follow-up to the Indonesian professional services trade mission to Berlin, Germany, which was previously undertaken by the Ministry of Trade in conjunction with the Ministry of Protection of Migrant Workers.
This trade mission served as an important momentum in strengthening cooperation between Indonesia and Germany, as well as other European nations, in meeting the demand for skilled workers across various strategic sectors.
