Deputy Speaker of DPR: People's Schools Help Students Achieve a Better Future

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal, emphasised that the People’s Schools represent a swift measure by the central government to assist students in attaining a better future through access to quality education supported by facilities and comprehensive guidance. “We urge the students of the People’s Schools to make optimal use of this opportunity, because education with full support from the state is an important chance that does not come twice in every individual’s life,” he said after a working visit to the Integrated People’s School (SRT) 9 in Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan, on Wednesday. According to Cucun, students’ success is greatly determined by a strong willingness to learn and the ability to set clear aspirations as a direction in pursuing the education process. He stressed the importance of maintaining enthusiasm and discipline, particularly in a dormitory-based school environment that demands high independence and responsibility from each student. Furthermore, he reminded that the education received now is a form of the state’s investment in the younger generation as future successors to national development. He hopes that the students can grow into accomplished, independent individuals capable of providing tangible contributions to society and the nation in various aspects of life. “The People’s Schools are to produce superior generations ready to face the dynamically evolving challenges of the times,” Cucun stated.
