Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Wakapolri), Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo, inaugurated the Central Board of the Police Family Association (KBPP) Polri for the 2026-2031 term. He encouraged KBPP Polri to continue providing benefits for the nation.

The inauguration took place at the Bhakti Dharma Waspada Building, STIK Lemdiklat Polri, in South Jakarta, on Wednesday (29/7/2026). Dedi stated that KBPP Polri is an organisation with integrity and professionalism.

“The vision of KBPP Polri as an organisation that is with integrity, professional, modern, and based on Bhayangkara values must be realised through tangible work that benefits members, society, the nation, and the state,” Dedi said.

Dedi noted that the National Police continues to transform through human-centred policing and evidence-based policing approaches. He expressed hope that KBPP Polri would become a strategic partner.

Dedi, who serves as the Daily Advisor for KBPP Polri, outlined three main policy directions. The first is strengthening the economy through micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The second is transparent organisational governance based on digital technology. The third is strengthening social service and collaboration with National Police work units.

“Indonesia has a demographic bonus that must be utilised as best as possible. KBPP Polri must be part of the effort to produce a generation that is with integrity, masters science and technology, and has social awareness,” he emphasised.

He urged the entire board to maintain the spirit of togetherness and to continue innovating in order to support the Indonesia Emas 2045 vision.

“Make this inauguration a starting point for greater service. Let us work together, strengthen collaboration, uphold integrity, and produce real work that benefits the community, the nation, and the state. With this spirit, I am optimistic that KBPP Polri will continue to advance and contribute positively to Indonesia’s development towards Indonesia Emas 2045,” said Commissioner General Dedi.

General Chairman of KBPP Polri, AH Bimo Suryono, reported that the new board composition had been officially ratified by the Ministry of Law. Bimo stated that the board is filled with professionals.

“KBPP Polri aims to be a shared home for the sons and daughters of the extended police family to work, collaborate, and serve. We hope this organisation can become a productive platform for the younger generation in supporting national development,” Bimo said.
