Deputy National Police Chief (Wakapolri) Komjen Dedi Prasetyo reported that based on traffic monitoring at Bakauheni Port, Lampung, on H-4 Lebaran 2026, traffic flow was proceeding smoothly.

“From our aerial surveillance conducted earlier, Bakauheni Port traffic is relatively smooth with no vehicle congestion observed,” said Wakapolri Dedi Prasetyo in South Lampung on Tuesday.

He noted that personnel preparations by the Lampung Regional Police Command are considered adequately prepared. Beyond the close collaboration between the National Police, TNI, local government, Basarnas, and ASDP, Operation Ketupat 2026 is expected to run smoothly.

“According to reports from the Lampung Regional Police Traffic Directorate, there are excellent records in security and service provision during Operation Ketupat. I extend my appreciation and gratitude to the Lampung Regional Police Chief,” he stated.

“This success is not solely determined by technology, but also by the solidarity and coordination of all stakeholders in providing the best service to the public. Through coordinated and data-driven steps, holidaymakers can experience safer, smoother, and more comfortable travel,” said Wakapolri Dedi Prasetyo.

He explained that one concrete manifestation of the National Police’s service efforts is the Siger application, which provides real-time and accurate traffic data. This application serves as the primary baseline for decision-making in the field by the Lampung Regional Police Chief and all ranks, ensuring that every response measure is data-driven, more effective, efficient, and precisely targeted to meet public needs.

“Through these various efforts, the National Police continue to provide responsive, measurable services oriented towards public needs. With thorough preparation and strong coordination, the implementation of Operation Ketupat 2026 in Lampung is expected to proceed safely and smoothly, realising safe travel and happy families,” said Wakapolri Dedi Prasetyo.
