“It came from illegal levies on Limited Stay Permits (KITAS), companies, and others,” the source added.

Separately, KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo confirmed the allegations of regular payments. However, he has not yet provided information regarding the amount received.

“It is true that there were allegations of regular payments,” Budi said when contacted via text message.

The KPK is reportedly using the article on gratification in handling this case.

The anti-corruption agency will present the chronology of the sting operation (OTT) including the details of the case involving Silmy in an upcoming press conference.
