Deputy Minister of Transmigration: Granting of Land Ownership Certificates to Transmigrants is Part of New Paradigm
Gorontalo (ANTARA) - Deputy Minister of Transmigration Viva Yoga Mauladi stated that the granting of 109 Certificates of Ownership (SHM) to transmigrant residents in Pulubala Subdistrict, Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province, is part of the new transmigration paradigm. “Yes, one of them is the new transmigration paradigm involving revitalisation and transformation,” said Viva Yoga in Pulubala, Gorontalo, on Wednesday. According to him, the Ministry of Transmigration aims to resolve past unresolved issues during this period. The Ministry of Transmigration wants to settle everything, especially regarding land grants, both Management Rights (HPL) and SHM that have been delayed, by accelerating the process. This is because the Ministry of Transmigration has collaborated with related ministries, particularly the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency, to speed up the issuance of SHM, which is the right of transmigrant residents. “There are indeed some cases of overlapping areas, but from the decision of Commission V of the House of Representatives along with commission partners from the Ministry of Transmigration, the Ministry of Forestry, and the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency, it is concluded that if there is a forestry area located in a transmigration area, the Ministry of Forestry must release its forestry rights,” said Viva Yoga. Therefore, with this process, several regions have already been completed, and some are in progress, but the Ministry of Transmigration is striving for all land-related issues, including SHM, to be resolved as soon as possible by 2026. Deputy Minister of Transmigration Viva Yoga Mauladi handed over 109 Certificates of Ownership (SHM) to transmigrant residents in Pulubala Subdistrict, Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province. “The government has provided SHM to you. Now, there are 109 SHM being handed over, and it is hoped that this will serve as a guide and legal basis that you legally own the land, it is your own property,” said Viva Yoga. These Certificates of Ownership can be used by transmigrant residents to obtain bank loans for business purposes. “This is a provision from the state to you, with the desire that you can manage that land to become a source of economy, a source of family livelihood, and ultimately increase income,” said Viva Yoga.
